​Matthew B. Cullen Theatrical Research and Development LLC (mbc theatrical r&d) is a producing company dedicated to the development of new work by investing in a process focused practice.​

The process is facilitated through a series of programs offered to artists. These programs are not limited to writers, but include directors, choreographers, designers, and devisers.​

They are currently developing Alexis Elisa Macedo’s UNTITLED SUPERHERO PLAY and her CHICANA LEGEND, as well as Katsuto Sakogashira's WHAT OPPENHEIMER (2023) DID NOT SHOW YOU. mbc theatrical r&d also hosts a series of Training Ensembles centering Moment Work technique.
